Ava recommends:

“My top reads of 2024 are Allison Saft’s A Dark and Drowning Tide, a gorgeously evocative, dark academia sapphic rivals-to-lovers romantic fantasy, steeped in lush folklore; and Courtney Gould’s What the Woods Took, a visceral, emotionally powerful YA horror novel with another heartfelt and beautifully rendered sapphic romance at its core.”
