Everett is a phenomenal writer (the film AMERICAN FICTION is based on his novel ERASURE and THE TREES is also amazing!) and this retelling of Huckleberry Finn told through the enslaved point of view is bound to become a classic. Can’t wait to discuss this with y’all!
