I put on my best Canadian tuxedo to celebrate one of Canada’s finest (no, not Heated Rivalry, although you SHOULD take this book to the cottage): pub day for @summerscourtney THIS IS NOT A TEST and sequel novella PLEASE REMAIN CALM.

This is the third publication from my publishing imprint @theinkyphoenix x @bindery_books (🤯) and this book is going to rip your heart out (and probably eat it). While this novel takes place during the onset of a zombie apocalypse (often compared to The Breakfast Club meets 28 Days Later), the heart of this story is deeply human. It is an introspective, psychological thriller that asks the question: when death is at your literal door, what happens if you don’t have the will to survive? What happens your grief is too loud? Because there are worse things than the end of the world.

It has been the privilege of my literary career to work with Courtney, and I hope you’ll pick up a copy and check out the film directed by @_adammacdonald starting @olivia_holt, in theatres Feb 20th.
