It feels like yesterday when we launched this amazing family. When we all banded together to create a new publishing model that would platform deserving authors and help create a more equitable and sustainable world of publishing.

STRANGE BEASTS, our debut for both Inky Phoenix Press and Susan J. Morris came out on October 15th, 2024. This is a picture of us the day after at Barnes & Noble in NYC, beaming. Flash-forward to March 17th, 2026: the release of the highly anticipated sequel in the Harker & Moriarty novels, WAYWARD SOULS. We might have new hair (I’m purple, Susan is now brown with splashes of dark green), and a whole lotta life that happened in-between, but we’re still beaming, and Sam & Hel are alive and better than ever. 🖤

And I have so much gratitude for YOU. Whether you're a paid member or free follower, we thank you deeply for loving and championing our books, and as always — this is just the beginning:)
